A little about us :-P
BJ and Kyle have known each other for many years originaly meeting at the Fonda Fair Horse Show. They both showed horses at the time and Kyle's mother was the show secretary for the show. From then on they were close friends and have shown with each other at the Fonda Fair every year since then. Recently Kyle went off to college in Rochester leaving his herd of Mini Rex and American Fuzzy Lops behind with his mother. While away BJ started to become interested in the Fuzzy Lops and decided to take one of Kyle's home with her to albany. She fell in love and decided she wanted to start breeding and showing like Kyle had. With this decided she started a partnership with Kyle and now they are showing under this partnership in Open ARBA shows. They hope to improve the quality of their stock and produce exceptional quality rabbits.
A little background on BJ and Kyle
BJ
BJ is 25 years old and resides in Colonie, NY. She has her BA in Communications from St. Rose College in Albany, NY and currently works as a traffic coordinator for Time Warner Cable in Latham, NY. She has been involved in 4-H her entire life and her true passion is showing horses. Besides traveling to rabbit shows with Kyle she also has a full schedule of Horse shows starting in Mid-May and running until the first weekend in October. She has been a New York State Saddle Horse Association Champion with several different titles and has won at least 3 each year. BJ also loves to make her own jewelery as a side hobby and makes beautiful pieces from swarovski crystals.
KYLE
Kyle is 20 and resides in Palatine Bridge, NY which is about an hour west of Albany where BJ lives. He is in his Junior year of college at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. He is a Music Performance major on Flute and Oboe and has a minor in Music History. Besides being a talented musician Kyle has also been involved with showing many types of animals over the years. Kyle started showing horses when he was about 6 years old but lost interest so he started showing beef cattle, specifically Simmentals. His family owns a dairy farm and still has these Simmentals which his mother Deb has an interest in. Kyle also has raised high qaulity waterfowl and largefowl for years and he and is mother have achieved the American Poultry Association achievement of Master Exhibitor #593 :-)
DEB YACOBUCCI
BJ and Kyle want to also acknowledge Deb Yacobucci, Kyle's mom, because without her the rabbitry would not exist while Kyle was gone at school. Deb is currently helping run the family farm and is the treasurer of the New York State Saddle Horse Association. She is very involved in Horses and shows at various shows with BJ. She also still attends some rabbit and poultry shows when Kyle or BJ attend. WE LOVE DEB <3 BJ and Kyle
